If Makayla cuts her 3 yards of ribbon into pieces that are 1/4 yard long, she has 12 pieces. If Toni cuts his 4 yards of ribbon into pieces that are 1/4 yard long, he has 16 pieces.If you add them all together, you have 28 pieces of ribbon that is 1/4 of a yard long.
