Answer:

Explanation:

1. Mental deviance -- deviant behavior is almost any behavior that has numerous differences compared to the rules and norms of society. Individuals that are showing deviant behavior are usually criminals, because their personality is different to normal behavior. Ones with deviant behavior usually suffer from deficiencies in personality and crime is a result from abnormal and inappropriate mental processes.

2. Mental illness -- is a form of deviance. Disorders that are connected to mental health consist of many conditions and disorders that affect individual's mood,  lifestyle, thoughts and behavior. Some of the illnesses are depression, anxiety, anorexia, bulimia, schizophrenia, etc. A lot of people are dealing with stressful events in their life but once a bad day or a week becomes a mental illness, one's normal life is shaken up.

3. Substance abuse -- is a very dangerous use of  both chemical and other substances that have a role in boosting one's mood. Alcohol, drugs and other substances that are neither alcohol and drugs ( legal and illegal, for example: mdma, co*aine, tranquilizers, etc ) Why the word abuse? Because it's consumed more than it's prescribed or more than you should. When it comes to substance abuse, you don't have to necessarily get addicted to it.

4. Chemical dependency -- it is a condition, even a disease when a person consumes too much of a certain substance, like ( alcohol, drugs, legal and illegal ) that they get addicted to it. Bodies of individuals who are addicted develop a chemical dependency and it's manifested through withdrawal. Some of the diseases: alcoholism, drug addiction and more.

Comparison between 1 and 2 -- between mental illness and mental deviance there are certain differences. Experts say that mental deviant people are usually ones who are poor, who are on the lower step of the social status, ones who belong to the racial minority, etc. There is also an opinion that if a poor person would show a deviant behavior, they would be labeled as crazy while a rich person would be labeled as charming and sympathetic. When it comes to mental illnesses they hit everyone differently, sometime without signs and symptoms. It's important to know that those conditions are successfully cured if an individual seeks help before it's too late.

Comparison between 3 and 4 --  There is a high percentage of substance abuse in every country of the world. There are some people who use it on the weekends and enjoy it with friends during a night out, thinking it's only this time and it won't happen again. On the other side, we have addicts. It's easy to become addicted. Some people don't know what they're getting themselves into before it's too late as this condition starts as abuse and the final result is addiction and chemical dependency. It's curable but it's not rare that chemical dependency results in painful, unexpected, death.
