t = 6 years

Equation:
t = (1/r)(A/P - 1)
Calculation:
First, converting R percent to r a decimal
r = R/100 = 7.5%/100 = 0.075 per year,
then, solving our equation

t = (1/0.075)((725/500) - 1) = 6
t = 6 years

The time required to get
a total amount, principal plus interest, of $ 725.00
from simple interest on a principal of $ 500.00
at an interest rate of 7.5% per year
is 6 years.

The slope of the line below is -3 which of the following point-slope form of the line?
zubka84 [21]

Answer:

The "point-slope" form of the equation of a straight line is:

\begin{gathered}y-y_1=m(x-x_1)\\\\(x_1;\ y_1)\ is\ a\ known\ point\\\\m\ is\ the\ slope\ of\ the\ line\end{gathered}y−y1=m(x−x1)(x1; y1) is a known pointm is the slope of the line

We have:

m=-3;\ (x_1;\ y_1)=(2;-2)m=−3; (x1; y1)=(2;−2)

Substitute

\begin{gathered}y-(-2)=-3(x-2)\\\\y+2=-3(x-2)\end{gathered}y−(−2)=−3(x−2)y+2=−3(x−2)

Answer: B. y + 2 = -3(x - 2

Using your own words, explain why the APR does not compare loans for different lengths of time.
Leya [2.2K]
This may be your answer
Some classes of fees are  not included in the calculation of APR. Because these fees are not included,as  some consumer advocates claim that the APR does not represent the total cost of borrowing.
 Excluded fees may include: routine one-time fees which are paid to someone other than the lender and penalties such as late service  without regard for the size of the penalty it will be imposed
