Looking at the modern day statistics do you think it was wise of the framers of the constitution to have two legislative bodies

(senate/house of representatives) to represent the people of each state? Explain why or why not? What problems could you see if we only had the senate? What problems could you see if we only had the house of representatives?

If there was only one house of representatives the smaller states will have less representation.

Explanation:

The original model of the house of representatives was taken from Britain. There are two senators per state and then there is the house of representatives where the number of members depends on the population of the state.

If the senate is removed, there will be less representation for the smaller states and thus there will be a chance they can be cornered.

The issue with this, is that constitutionally, all states are to be equal in the eyes of  the federal government in the Federation.

It was Andrew Jackson.  He led a mixed force against the British army at the Battle of New Orleans.  Among the defenders were regular troops, frontiers men, Native Americans, free Black men and even pirates who fought the invaders that resulted into victory.  Jackson would later be elected president of the United States.

Climate change destabilises the Earth’s temperature equilibrium and has far-reaching effects on human beings and the environment. During the course of global warming, the energy balance and thus the temperature of the earth change, due to the increased concentration of greenhouse gases, which has a significant impact on humans and the environment.

The direct consequences of man-made climate change include:

-rising maximum temperatures.

The indirect consequences of climate change, which directly affect us humans and our environment, include:

-health risks through rising air temperatures and heatwaves.

-economic implications of dealing with secondary damage related to climate change.

-increasing spread of pests and pathogens.

-loss of biodiversity due to limited adaptability and adaptability speed of flora and fauna.

-ocean acidification due to increased HCO3 concentrations in the water as a consequence of increased CO₂ concentrations.

-the need for adaptation in all areas (e.g. agriculture, forestry, energy, infrastructure, tourism, etc.).
