en can produce 25 tons of paper or 5 million cars each year. Draw the production possibilities frontier for each country. Both countries want 2 million cars each year and as much paper as they can produce along with 2 million cars. Find this point on each production possibilities frontier and label it "A." Suppose the countries specialize. Which country will produce cars? Show the equation you used to come to the answer Once they specialize, suppose they work out a trade of 2 million cars for 6 tons of paper. Find new consumption point for each country and label it "B".

Answer:

Attached grap with point A and B.

Explanation:

Russia will produce the cars as their production has te lower opportunity cost:

(Note: Opportunity cost is the amount of production resigned for the current output)

Sweden pportunity cost for production car:

25 ton of papper / 5 m cars = 5 tons per millon of cars

Russia pportunity cost for production car:

8 ton of papper / 4 m cars = 2 tons per millon of cars

With the trade set at 2 millon car for 6 tons of paper we get the following

Sweden produce 25 tons - 6 traded = 19

and receive 2 millon car

Russia produce 4 millon car - 2 traded = 2

and receive 6 tons of pappers

Illusion [34]

Answer:

The correct answer is b. an implied contract.

Explanation:

The theory of implicit contracts refers to the fact that the relationship between employers and workers is governed, in addition to the "explicit" legal contracts signed between the two, by a multitude of tacit commitments established during the understanding between the two parties. Implied contracts are unwritten agreements and informal rules that companies have with their workers, and that, in many cases, are justified in the commitment to wage stability. In this theory, companies set wages within a broad and long-term strategy or stability of the employment relationship.

Heedy Winery accumulates the costs incurred in the labeling process in an activity cost pool. Costs for the labeling process are
klasskru [66]

Answer:

$80,000

Explanation:

The computation of allocation labeling expenses is shown below:-

Overhead rate = Labeling process cost ÷ Labels generated

$320,000 ÷ $640,000

= $0.5 per label

Allocation labeling expenses = Wine estimated bottles × Overhead rate

= $160,000 × $0.5

= $80,000

Therefore for computing the allocation labeling expenses we simply applied the above formula.

Explanation:

1. Break even point in units

= Fixed cost / Selling price per unit - Variable cost per unit

Given that

Fixed cost = $600,000

Selling price per unit = $375

Variable cost per unit = $300

Break even point in units = $600,000 / ($375 - $300)

= $600,000 / $75

= 8,000 units

2. Break even in sales

= Fixed cost / Selling price unit - Variable cost per unit × Selling price per unit.

=[ $600,000 / ($375 - $300) ] × $375

= 8,000 × $375

= $3,000,000
