Answer:

a. $64 per hour

b. Tortilla chips = $9.60, Potato chips = $7.68 , Pretzels = $6.40

Explanation:

Plant-wide factory overhead rate = Budgeted Overhead / Budgeted Activity

Calculation of Budgeted Overheads :

Hint : Consider only Indirect Manufacturing Costs

Factory depreciation $13,645

Indirect labor $33,817

Factory electricity $3,856

Indirect materials $8,010

Total $59,328

Calculation of Budgeted Hours :

Tortilla chips (1,500 × 0.15) = 225

Potato chips (3,600 × 0.12) = 432

Pretzels (2,700 × 0.10 ) = 270

Total                                     = 927

Plant-wide factory overhead rate = $59,328 / 927

                                                       = $64 per hour

Factory overhead allocated to each of the three products :

Tortilla chips (0.15 × $64) = $9.60

Potato chips 0.12 × $64) = $7.68

Pretzels (0.10 × $64) = $6.40

What J. Crew, Bellstaff, & Timex are doing is a type of marketing promotion called cross-promotion.

Cross-promotion is done by promoting a product using another product or service’s promotion. This type of promotion is perfect when the customer base between the two products are alike, thus reducing the cost needed to promote two products by just using one promotion instead.

Why does howe avoid using the term "market revolution?" What evidence does he cite to promote his avoidance? What term does he s
KIM [24]

Since the expansion that followed the War of 1812 was more of an ongoing evolution than a sudden revolution, Daniel Walker Howe avoids using the term "Market Revolution" and there is evidence that a market economy already existed and had been established in the American colonies in the 18th century.

Since communication significantly improved starting around 1815 compared to earlier decades, he advocates using the term "communication revolution" to describe the early nineteenth century.

Finally, retorts Howe, the revolution that really mattered was the "communications revolution": the invention of the telegraph, the expansion of the postal system, improvements in printing technology, and the growth of the newspaper, magazine, and book-publishing industries, and the improvements in higher-speed transportation. Howe responds that the "communications revolution," which included the development of the telegraph, the expansion of the postal service, advancements in printing technology, the expansion of the newspaper, magazine, and book publishing industries, as well as the development of faster transportation, was the revolution that truly mattered.

stealth61 [152]

Answer:

D. Resource scarcity is low

Explanation:

When environmental changes and complexities are at low levels ( that is, like technological changes, law, politics, conpetition, trends etc.) and also resource scarcity is low (which means resources are in abundance or plentiful), managers becomes more confident that they can understand, predict, and react to the external forces affecting their businesses.

Low resource scarcity is makes managers very confident because they have available more resources to undergo their production processes.

uysha [10]
Hey there!

In the case of Florida (it might be different depending on the state that you live in, so please look this up on your own!), if you get 12 points within 12 months, your license will get suspended for 30 days. The most common reasons for receiving points include speeding (3 to 6 points, depending on severity), child safety restraint violations (3 points), reckless driving (4 points), and littering (3 points).

Hope this helped you out! :-)

a new restaurant recently opened and the owner wants to create an ad promoting the curbside delivery service.

brand awareness marketing objective does this ad align with.

What is Brand Awareness Marketing?

The degree to which consumers can recall or recognise a brand under various circumstances is known as brand awareness. The associative network memory model of brand knowledge has two aspects, one of which is brand awareness. Consumer behaviour, advertising strategy, and brand management all heavily rely on brand awareness. The choice to buy something is mostly based on the consumer's capacity to recognise or recall a brand. Consumers must first be aware of a product category and a brand within it in order to proceed with a purchase.
