First, you do $131 x 12 since there are 12 months in one year.
131 x 12=1,572
Then you do 1,572-500= 1,072 because it's a deductible.
Now, you have to find 20 percent of 3200. To do that, you do .
20 x 3200= 640.
Finally, you subtract 1,072-640 since she owed that for a minor accident. So, the answer is $432.

I hope this helps:)

Answer:

Total health care expenses  = $2712

Step-by-step explanation:

Gracie's insurance premium are $131 per month . We have 12 months in year therefore, so in a year her insurance premium will be 12 × 131 = $1572 .

She also paid $500 deductible and a 20% of $3200 for a minor accident

20% of $3200 = 20/100 × 3200 = 32 × 20 = $640

The total health care expenses this year  will be the sum of her whole expenses.

Total health care expenses  = $1572  + $500 + $640

Total health care expenses  = $2712

To find:

The value of x.

Solution:

We have,

3-2x=15

Subtracting 3 from both sides, we get

-2x=12

Divide both sides by -2.

x=\dfrac{12}{-2}

x=-6

Therefore, the value of x is -6.
