I told you in my answer that I was writing that you have to remember that in math any whole number converted to a fraction is over 1.  So make the 10 a 10/1.

10/1 divided by 2/3 copy change flip.

10/1 x 3/2  multiple across 30/2  divide that answer is 15.  You can cut 15 boards that are 2/3 in length from a 10 foot long board.

<em>Height of the pole (DC) is 57.2709m</em>

Step-by-step explanation:

Here, Wire DA and Wire DB supports a pole.

Given that Angle, A=54 , B= 72.

Also, AB = 23m

Now, Taking triangle BCD and Using basic trigonometry

Height of pole H = DC

TanB = \frac{DC}{BC}

BC= \frac{DC}{TanB}

Now, Taking triangle ACD and Using basic trigonometry

TanA = \frac{DC}{AC}

AC= \frac{DC}{TanA}

From figure, we know that

AC = AB + BC

AC - BC = AB = 23

Replacing values of AC and BC

\frac{DC}{TanA} - \frac{DC}{TanB}=23\\DC(\frac{1}{TanA}-\frac{1}{TanB})=23

Now, TanB= Tan72 =3.0776 and TanA = Tan54=1.3763

DC (\frac{1}{1.3763} - \frac{1}{3.0776})_= 23

DC ( 0.7265-0.3249)= 23

DC ( 0.4016 )= 23

DC = 57.2709

Thus, Height of thepole is 57.2709m

What would be the coordinates of A(−9,12)
hammer [34]

Answer:

(12, 9)

Step-by-step explanation:

I am assuming it was rotated about the origin.

180 degrees clockwise would give the point ((9, 12).

Then if this point is roated 90 degrees anti-clockwise it would end up at the point (12,9)

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Hello,

\dfrac{p}{q}*\dfrac{q}{p}=1=(2x+2)(2-x)\\\\ 4x-2x^2+4-2x=1\\\\ -2x^2+2x+4-1=0\\\\ -2x^2+2x+3=0\\\\

There are two solutions

\Delta=b^2-4ac=2^2+4*2*3=4+24=28=7*4\\x_1=\dfrac{-2+\sqrt{7*4}}{-4}=\dfrac{-2+2\sqrt{7}}{-4}=\dfrac{1-\sqrt{7}}{2}\\x_2=\dfrac{1+\sqrt{7}}{2}\\

Hope this helps
