Explanation :

The magnetic force is given by :

F=q(v\times B)

or

F=qvB\ sin\theta............(1)

Where

q is the charge

v is the velocity with which it is moving

B is the magnetic field

\theta is the angle between the velocity and the magnetic field.

We know that the magnetic field is inversely proportional to the distance.

So, the force will also inversely proportional to the distance.

Hence, as the distance from a magnet increases, the magnetic force decrease.

Which statement BEST describes the theory of natural selection?
ch4aika [34]
C, it guarantees the survival of a species, for example there are a species of moth called the pepper moth, some of them are light and some of them are dark, where the pepper moths live has dark trees, the pepper moths that are lighter in color are likely to be eaten by birds because they are easier to see making the amount of light pepper moths scarce while the dark pepper moths live to breed and have offspring.

An action potential in one segment of axon causes adjacent sections of axon membrane to reach threshold through what mechanism?
Furkat [3]

Answer:

The generation of local currents.

Explanation:

An action potential at the axon hillock generates local currents that depolarize nearby sections of axon to threshold. This change in membrane potential causes voltage-gated Na+ channels to open in the adjacent axon segment. This generates/regenerates the action potential in the adjacent segment, causing the action potential to propagate away from the axon hillock.
