Ursula's uncle gives her a promissory note in exchange for her promise to work as his personal attorney if she finishes law scho

ol in three years. Is Ursula a holder in due course? Which of the following is NOT a requirement for HDC status?
- Although a promise to give value in the future is valid consideration to support a contract, it does not constitute value to make the promisor an HDC.
- A holder takes an instrument for value only to the extent that the promise has been performed.
- When an instrument is purchased at a bankruptcy sale, the holder will not be an HDC.
- A holder who does not act in the process of acquiring the instrument cannot be an HDC.
- The good faith requirement applies only to the holder.
- A person who takes a negotiable instrument from a thief may become an HDC if the person acquired the instrument in good faith and had no reason to be of the transaction.

Write one paragraph (4-5 sentences) on what a police officer must do upon arriving at a traffic accident.
Umnica [9.8K]
I’m not sure but I took drivers ed so I think I know.

When a police officer is arriving at a traffic accident, they should check if any person is hurt. If someone is severely hurt or just hurt in general, the police should call the ambulance right away! They should ask questions about what happened and everyone injured in the accident so they are completely on point of knowing what happened and making sure everyone is there, and ok!

KIM [24]

Answer:

A Confession

Explanation:

In the case of Colorado v. Connelly (1986), Supreme Court Justice Wiliam Brennan considered A CONFESSION to be the strongest piece of evidence in a trial.

This is evident when he wrote in his dissent among other things that "Triers of fact accord confessions such heavyweight in their determination that the introduction of a confession makes the other aspects of a trial in court superfluous and the real trial, for all practical purposes, occurs when the confession is obtained."
