Answer: Hormonal changes and imbalances.

Explanation:

This condition is called premenstrual syndrome(PMS) which begins two weeks or so before your menstrual period. Hormonal fluctuations such as; serotonin, estrogen, progesterone levels, stomach cramps and overall period pain causes mood swings and irritability in woman during their menstrual cycle.
