The correct answer would be option D, Parasympathetic Nervous System.

His body begins to relax and return to normal. Parasympathetic Nervous System is responsible for returning Malcolm to a normal state.

Explanation:

Parasympathetic Nervous System is a part of the Nervous System. This is also called as the rest and digest system.

This part of the nervous system helps in slowing down the heart rate, intestinal and glands activities increases, and sphincter muscles in the gastrointestinal tract relaxes.

This part works with the sympathetic nervous system. Sympathetic nervous system is responsible for the increase of heart rate, whereas Parasympathetic nervous system is responsible for slowing down the heart rate.

The heart rate usually rises during the feeling of fear, excitement, working out, etc. For example during a flight, the heart rate increases due to sympathetic nervous system and comes back to normal rate through parasympathetic nervous system. Similarly when Malcolm comes to know that the sound was produced by the cat, his body came back to his normal state due to the Parasympathetic Nervous System.

Which driving symptom might indicate that a driver is impaired and their actions unpredictable?
Setler79 [48]

Answer:D) All of the above

Explanation:

When a driver start to weave from side to side that means you never know if they are going to come straight into your lane even if you are driving on another lane or if they leave your lane they may still weave back so it is better to halt or pass the driver of possible.

Also someone who starts to speed up all of suddenly can't be predicted.

Running on stop signs and stop lights is also dangerous because the person may crash against those who follow the stop signs and light properly so when you yield or stop there you can not predict their next move if they running through these lights.
