Answer:

19 28/33

Step-by-step explanation:

lets work out the whole number parts first:

= 19 + 17 - 16 = 20.

4/12 + 2/11 - 6/9

= 1/3 + 2/11 - 6/9

Find the LCM of the denominators:

3 = 3

11 = 11

9 = 3*3

- so the LCM is 3*3*11 = 99.

So we have:

33/99 + 18/99 - 66/99

= 51/99 - 66/99

= -15/99

= -5/33

So the answer is 20 - 5/33

= 19 28/33

You just had to subtract 5/33 from 20.

aev [14]

Answer:

(a) Altitude

(b) perpendicular bisector

(c) median

Step-by-step explanation:

 • The perpendicular bisector of a side of a triangle is a line perpendicular to the side and passing through its midpoint.
 • The angle bisector of an angle of a triangle is a straight line that divides the angle into two congruent angles.
 • A median of a triangle is a line segment drawn from a vertex to the midpoint of the opposite side of the vertex.
 • An altitude of a triangle is the perpendicular segment from a vertex of a triangle to the opposite side (or the line containing the opposite side).

(a) Altitude

m∠KML = 90° but JM ≠ ML (so not perpendicular bisector)

(b) perpendicular bisector

AD = DB and m∠BDE = 90°

(c) median

QS = QR ⇒ S is the midpoint QR, BUT it is not perpendicular to QR, so median

Then the estimation for the number of female members who areover 50 years of age is 92

Step-by-step explanation:

For this problem we know that the total number of members in a social club is 115, And we also know that 80 %of the members who are over 50 yearsold are femaleIn order to find the number of female member who are over 50 yaers we can do this operation:

n = 115*0.80= 92

Then the estimation for the number of female members who areover 50 years of age is 92
