Answer:

An analogy of the endocrine system can be a factory production system, where the Central Nervous System, specifically the hypothalamus, is the coordinating manager, the pituitary is a foreman, and the glands are workers that take care of direct production.

Explanation:

In a factory that manufactures a product "X", the manager receives the order to produce 1000 units. He informs his coordinator who forwards the order to his foreman. Finally, the foreman instructs his workers to start the production of "X".

The Hypothalamus-Pituitary-glandular axis is a system of control over the production of hormones, according to the requirements of the organism:

 1. Hypothalamus (Coordinating Manager): is in charge of producing factors that induce or inhibit the production of hormone-releasing factors in the pituitary gland. An example is the hypothalamic factor for the release of Gonadotrophins (GnRH).
 2. The pituitary gland (the foreman): produces gonadotrophins, lueinizing hormone and follicle-stimulating hormone.
 3. The gonads, ovaries and testes (the working glands): produce estrogens and androgens (product "X"), which are necessary for the function of both men and women.

The production of enough hormones induces negative feedback, where the hypothalamus inhibits the release of gonadotropins by the pituitary gland -which in turn stops the production of hormones at the glandular level- that is, when the 1000 units of "X" are ready, the manager tells the foreman to order the workers to stop production.

Answer:

Water molecules are polar and form strong hydrogen bonds.

Explanation:

Properties like high surface tension and boiling point are unique to water due to water's polar molecules. This allows water to form very strong hydrogen bonds and give it some different abilities.
