-3 and 4 are the two numbers. Now to put it in factor form would be:

(x - 3)(x + 4) = 0

They y also must equal zero.

Since its equals to 0, we must solve for x for the binomial.

x - 3 = 0 ; x = 3

x + 4 = 0 ; x = -4
