If families were taking walks, it can lower their blood pressure, improve sleep which creates more energy. It also increases the HDL (healthy cholesterol) and reduces the risks of cancer and can enhance your immune system.

Watching movies together is sitting down for long periods of time and slows down metabolism, which affects the body's ability to regulate blood pressure and blood sugar, and break down body fat. This can lead to obesity, type 2 diabetes and stroke.

Attending church together does not involve much exercise as you are standing up and sitting down.

Going shopping together involves walking around the shop and it is does involve some exercise but you are more likely to cover a bigger surface area by taking walks together, in a park for example, than a shop.
