Answer:

Your answer is correct

Step-by-step explanation:

Indeed subtracting 5 from both sides would be n/-3> -1

Multiplying both sides by -3 would give you n < 3 (obviously after reversing the inequality sign)

Answer:

n

Step-by-step explanation:

We have been given an inequality \frac{n}{-3}+5>4. We are asked to solve the given inequality by explaining all the steps.

First of all, we will subtract 5 from both sides of inequality using subtraction property of inequality as:

\frac{n}{-3}+5-5>4-5

\frac{n}{-3}>-1

To solve for n, we will multiply both sides of inequality by -3. We need to remember that when we multiply or divide an inequality by a negative number, the sign of inequality reverses.

\frac{n}{-3}\cdot (-3)

n

Therefore, the solution of our given inequality would be n.

This list shows the ingredients needed to make 12 flapjacks.
AURORKA [14]
Both 12 and 18 can be divided by 6. Therefore, convert 12 flapjacks into 6 flapjacks so you can use this for the final answer. Divide all the ingredients by 2= 250/2, 120/2, 120/2, 2/2 which will give you the ingredients for 6 flapjacks. After you have found the ingredients for 6 flapjacks, multiply each by 3 because 6x3=18. You should have your answer.

. William fills 1/3 of a water bottle in 1/6 of a minute. How much time will it
Alex Ar [27]

Answer:

It will take him

\frac{1}{2}

of a minute to fill the bottle.

Step-by-step explanation:

I'm really not sure this is right but..

we can solve using proportions. Cross-multiply and divide.

\frac{ \frac{1}{3} of \: a \: water \: bottle}{\frac{1}{6} minute} \:  =  \frac{ \frac{3}{3} of \: a \: water \: bottle}{x}  \\  \\  \frac{ \frac{1}{6} }{ \frac{1}{3} }  =  \frac{ \frac{1}{3} x}{ \frac{1}{3} }  \\  \\  \frac{1}{2}  = x

Write the explicit formula for the geometric sequence. Then find the fifth term in the sequence.
mr_godi [17]
The sequence:  a 1 = - 4,  a 2 = 8,  a 3 = -16,...
a 2 = a 1 * r
8 = - 4 * r
r = 8 : ( - 4 )
r = - 2
a n = a 1 * r^(n-1)
a 5 = - 4 * ( - 2 ) ^4 = - 4 * 16 = - 64
Answer:
The fifth term in the sequence is - 64.

Find an equation equivalent to r=6secθ in rectangular coordinates and describe the graph of the equation.
k0ka [10]

Answer:

x = 6

Step-by-step explanation:

r = 6 sec θ

r = 6 / cos θ

r cos θ = 6

x = 6

The graph is a vertical line passing through (6, 0).
