Because the inequality has the ≥ sign, the line will be a solid line. x can be equal to -2 if you have an underlined inequality sign like ≥. If it helps you, the line underneath it is solid, just like it would be in your graph.
You can pick D out of process of elimination, but I'll explain it a bit more so you can understand. The -2 at the end means the point on the y-axis should be (0, -2). Because y is greater than x, the shading should be on the left of the line. The shading will always be in the direction that the little "mouth" on your inequality sign faces.
