In comparison to other books about Benjamin Franklin, The Autobiography probably gives you the best insight into the moral values of the time.

Franklin's narration about his life is divided into four parts, reflecting the different periods at which he wrote them. There are actual breaks in the narrative between the first three parts, but Part Three's narrative continues into Part Four without an authorial break.

Which character is Chillingworth referring to? Therefore, what does he want to do?
Keith_Richards [23]

Answer:

Explanation:

Roger Chillingworth is a fictional character and primary antagonist in the 1850 novel The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne. He is an English scholar who moves to the New World with, after, his wife Hester Prynne. Chillingworth, a doctor and student of alchemy, attempts to emigrate from England to Puritan Boston.

He is interested in revenge, not justice, and he seeks the deliberate destruction of others rather than a redress of wrongs. His desire to hurt others stands in contrast to Hester and Dimmesdale's sin, which had love, not hate, as its intent.

What is Wiesel's overall attitude toward the United States in this passage?
Bingel [31]
Wiesel's overall attitude towards the United States appears to be quite hopeful, in certain aspects. He discusses at length to a degree of how we, as people, we brave - and sought to fight for the greater good. It appears that he is respectful and somewhat grateful. But, there is also a hint of remorse for the lives lost in this war.

Hopefully, this helps! =)
