Don't think the size of the egg matters what is important is for it to be fertile so the sperm n the egg can fuse for an embryo to b present

The size varies in terms of fertility. The larger the size of the fertilized egg, the chances of the fertilization higher compared to eggs that are relatively smaller. Sperms are  vessels of DNA with enough nutrients to penetrate the eggs.
