The number of particles = moles x avogadros constant

So atoms = 1.54 x 6.022x10²³

= 9.27x10²³

What is the mass number of C12,C13 and C14
Elena L [17]
Carbon-13 and Carbon-14 are isotopes of the element carbon. All carbon atoms have 6 protons in their nucleus and most have 6 neutrons. Since the mass number consists of # of protons + # of neutrons, Carbon 12 has an atomic mass of 12 ( = 6 protons + 6 neutrons). Carbon-13 atoms have one extra neutron, giving it a total of 7 neutrons. Carbon-14 atoms have two extra neutrons, giving them a total of 8 neutrons. Therefore the mass number of C-12= 12, C-13= 13 and C-14= 14.

In an pot of water you have 2.5 L at 25oC. How much energy will be needed to heat up the water to 100oC
Oksanka [162]

Answer:

784500 Joules

Explanation:

To start, you will need an equation to find the change in energy. This can be found by using Q = mCT or by using integrated heat capacities.

to find the mass of water,

2.5L * 1kg/L = 2.5 kg water

1kg/L is the density of water.

Then, Q = 2.5kg*4.184J/gC*(100-25)

Notice that all of the units do not cancel out properly, so some unit conversions are needed to find the correct answer.

I need help lol, I’ll brainlist u!
sergeinik [125]

To make an electron jump into a higher level we basically need to provide them with the energy. This energy can be provided by heating or by striking the potassium surface with a high frequency monochromatic wave of light.
