We Know, Atomic number of Uranium = 92
Molar mass in given species = 233

Now, Molar mass = Number of Protons + Number of Neutrons
233 = 92 + x
x = 233 - 92
x = 141

So, your final answer is 141

Hope this helps!

Answer : The number of neutrons in an atom U-233 is, 141 neutrons.

Explanation :

The given atom is, U-233

The atomic mass number of U = 233

The atomic number of U = 92 (from the periodic table)

Now we have to determine the number of neutrons in U-233.

Number of neutrons = Atomic mass number - Atomic number

Number of neutrons = 233 - 92 = 141

Therefore, the number of neutrons in an atom U-233 is, 141 neutrons

When 1.5 mol calcium nitrate dissolves in water, how many moles of ions should be present in solution?
____ [38]

Answer:

1.5 moles of Ca²⁺ and 3 moles of NO₃⁻

Explanation:

This is the dissociation:

Ca(NO₃)₂  →  Ca²⁺  +  2NO₃⁻

1.5 moles of salt will have the same moles of ion Ca²⁺ and the double of moles, of nitrate according to the equation.

Therefore will be 1.5 moles of Ca²⁺ and 3 moles of NO₃⁻

Acetone is a common solvent that has a density of 0.7899 g/mL. What volume of acetone, in milliliters, has a mass of 44.2 g
balu736 [363]

The volume of acetone, in milliliters, has a mass of 44.2 g is 55.96mL.

HOW TO CALCULATE VOLUME?

The volume of a substance can be calculated by dividing the mass by its density. That is;

Volume (mL) = mass (g) ÷ density (g/mL)

According to this question, acetone is a solvent with density of 0.7899g/mL and mass of 44.2g. The volume is calculated as follows:

Volume = 44.2g ÷ 0.7899g/mL

Volume = 55.96mL

Therefore, the volume of acetone, in milliliters, has a mass of 44.2g is 55.96mL.
