You solve the equation S=lw+2wh for w. Which equation is correct?

Mathematics

s = lw + 2wh

We can take the 'w' out of the right side of the equation:

s = w(l + 2h)

Divide both sides by (l + 2h)

w = \frac{s}{l + 2h}

Good luck!

Can someone help?
lutik1710 [3]

Answer:

21(a) 8 cm

21(b) 1.6 cm/sec

Step-by-step explanation:

21(a)

21 cm = 13 cm = 8 cm

21(b)

Increase in depth from 6 sec to 11 sec: 8 cm

Time from 6 sec to 11 sec: 11 sec - 6 sec = 5 sec

Rate = (8 cm)/(5 sec) = 1.6 cm/sec
