Ischemic: Give the person blood thinner or clot dissolver.

Hemorrhagic: Reduce blood pressure through medicines and find out if it is a AVM (requires more serious treatment, including surgery).

Explanation:

There isn't much you can do to a patient who is experiencing a cerebrovascular accident (both ischemic or hemorrhagic) apart from giving him the necessary medicines to redice blood pressure or blood flow.

check the sound of blood flow to see if it is abnormal then check the blood pressure -  cva is a stroke
