Consider the sequence {4,6,8,10,...} find the 130th term of the sequence
Olin [163]

262

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1:

To find the nth term of a sequence the basic formula is

Sn = (n*d) + (a-d)

Whereas

Sn= nth Term

n= Term to be found

d= Difference between the terms in the sequence

a= First term in the sequence

Step 2:

Sn = (130*2) +(4-2)

= 260+2

Sn= 262

The nth term for the given problem is 262

A plot of land is in the shape of a triangle. If one side is x meters, a second side (5x−3) meters, and a third side is ( 7x −
liubo4ka [24]

Given, the plot is in the shape of triangle.

First side = x meter

Second side = ( 5x-3 )meters

Third side = ( 7x-6 ) meters

Perimeter of triangle is equal to the sum of all the three sides.

Perimeter = x + (5x-3) + (7x-6)

Combine like terms by adding all the x terms together and all the constant terms together.

Perimeter = (x+5x+7x) + ( -3 -6 )

Perimeter = 13x - 9 feet ... Answer

what is the surface area of a rectangular prism that has a height of 5cm a width of 10cm and a depth of 4cm
Kamila [148]

2(5*10)+2(10*4)+2(5*4)=

2(50)+2(40)+2(20)=100+80+40=

220 cm^2

I found the answer by finding the areas of the 3 different sides, multiplying each area by 2 since each side has another side that is equal on a rectangular prism, then adding all of them together.
