Doctors use microscopes to aid in their diagnoses. A microscope can be used to magnify cells and other specimens from a patient. Magnification of the specimen using a microscope helps a doctor to determine whether a sample is healthy or diseased. This will help determine the best course of action when treating the patient.
The benefits of microscopes to doctors are numerous. The ability to examine cells and tissues in greater detail can result in an earlier diagnosis and treatment that is tailored to the specific disease of the patient, as well as whether the cancer has spread to the neighbouring tissues.

Doctors use microscope so that they can see the very small cells which are not visible with a naked eye, but microscopes magnify and make them larger so that doctors can see it.

Assessment of a term neonate at 8 hours after birth reveals tachypnea, diminished femoral pulses, and poor lower body perfusion.
12345 [234]
The correct answer is "coarctation of the aorta". In coarctation of the aorta, there is an abnormal narrowing of the aorta, most commonly in the abdominal aorta, which compromises blood flow from going into the lower extremities. Patients with coarctation of the aorta most commonly presents with tachypnea as this is a high pressure congenital heart defect which makes breathing harder for the baby; diminished femoral pulses and poor lower body perfusion as the narrowing compromises blood flow. In physical examination, there will be a narrow ankle-brachial index, or the difference between the pulse pressures of the ankle (lower extremity) and the brachium (upper extremity).

1/4 recessive can be expected for the recessive trait of mono hybrids from the F2 generation.

Option D

Explanation:

Mono hybrid cross is defined as the crossing between two plants considering the two different alleles of a particular character. It was 1st performed by Father of Genetics, Sir Gregor Mendel. The mono hybrid cross done by him considered the character tallness of garden pea plants, of which one was tall and other was short.

He crossed them to get all tall plants in 1^{st} Filial generation. Now as he self bred those plants, he got the tall and short plants in ratio of 3:1. Thus he proved that the recessive trait of mono hybrids is 1/4^{th} of the total population of F2 generation.

 • Tears wash out foreign bodies which enter the eye. In addition, tears contain a substance called lysozyme which has an antibacterial function and works to prevent microbial invasion and infection.
 • Saliva protects against infection, especially via the innate immune system. This mechanism is an important first-line protection against bacterial and viral infection
 • The mucociliar escalator is within the conducting airways and is composed of mucus and cilia that transfer the mucus up and out of the lungs where it can be removed by coughing or swallowing,

Whereas HCL helps in the digestion process.
