5% of weekly sales.....so for them to be equal, 5% of his weekly sales needs to equal 1080

let x be his weekly sales...and turn ur percent to a decimal

0.05x = 1080

x = 1080 / 0.05

x = 21,600 <== he would have to sell $ 21,600 worth of stuff
