The process that is characterized by the movement of particles from the area of high concentration to the area of low concentration across the plasma membrane without the use of energy is called PASSIVE TRANSPORT.
When it comes to movement of particles into cells, there are two basic types of transportation, these are active and passive transport. The active transport system needs energy in form of ATP to move the particles across the cell membranes while the passive transport system does not require energy. The rate at which active transport occur usually depend on the permeability of the cell membrane. There are four examples of passive transport, these are: simple diffusion, facilitated diffusion, osmosis and filteration.

The correct answer is option C. The passive transport is a process which is characterized by the movement of particles from an area of high concentration to an area of low concentration across the plasma membrane without the use of energy because, its particle move by themselves due to entropy. Whereas, active transport requires energy to move form low concentration to higher concentration..

An imbalance from the homeostasis perspective is considered to be
Aleks [24]

When there is an imbalance from the homeostasis of the body, a disorder or disease may result. Homeostasis establishes balance and equilibrium of the internal and external part of the body. If this balance or ideal levels are interrupted, the body may correct it by making all system work together or the problem may worsen based on certain influences and may not allow normal functioning of the organism, by either deficiency or toxicity.

Moreover, some factors that influence the body’s ability to maintain homeostatic balance are genetics, lifestyle choices and environmental exposure.

natta225 [31]

According to the research, the correct option is control. Experiments are carried out to test a hypothesis by changing one variable at a time and including an unchanged variable termed a control.

What are Experiments?

It is the process by which one or more variables are intentionally manipulated by carrying out actions aimed at discovering or verifying certain phenomena.

In this sense, its basis is in the manipulation of the variables that are considered relevant, the control of strange variables and the randomization of the rest.

Therefore, we can conclude that according to the research, the correct option is control. Experiments are carried out to test a hypothesis by changing one variable at a time and including an unchanged variable termed a control.
