Remark

I think you can only do this either as a 2 step question or as a proportion. The easiest way is the proportion.

Proportion

6 hours / 52.50 = 11/x      Cross multiply

6*x = 52.50 * 11                Combine the factors on the right

6x =  577.5                       Divide both sides by 6

6x/6 = 577.5/6

x = 96.25                        Answer

So, just divide:

52.50 / 6 = 8.75

This means that she earns $8.75 an hour.

If this is her hourly salary, then multiply 8.75 x 11

8.75 x 11 = 96.25

So, if Paula works for 11 hours,  she will earn $96.25!

How do you connect the ideas of congruency and rigid motion?
natta225 [31]
<span>Rigid motion does not change the shape of an object. if you move an object to another place, you can think of it as a new object (a copy) at the new position and it will be congruent to the object at the original position. or, if two objects are congruent, you can move one object so it lies on top of the other, showing they are congruent.</span>

The fee to check luggage with anew arline is based on the weightof each bag. Brett paid $7.14 tocheck a 42-pound bag. Howmuch wi
rodikova [14]

$10.71

Explanation

Step 1

you can easily solve this by using a rule of three.

Let

x represents the money Eileen will pay if her bag weighs 63 pounds

the proportion is the same

then

\frac{7.14}{42}=\frac{x}{63}

Step 2

solve for x

\begin{gathered} \frac{7.14}{42}=\frac{x}{63} \\ 63\cdot7.14=42x \\ x=\frac{63\cdot7.14}{42} \\ x=\frac{449.82}{42} \\ x=10.71 \\  \end{gathered}

I hope this helps you

Can anyone answer this please i need to be for sure I’m right
Genrish500 [490]
The answer to this question is B, (-infinity, -28].

We can get this answer by first multiplying each side of the inequality by 7. That would get rid of the fraction. When one does that, the result is d + 28 \leq 0. That means that d \leq -28. In interval notation, which is the notation the problem is asking us, that would be (-infinity, -28], since d is all values less than -28 this includes infinity, but it also includes -28, so there is a ] around it. That means that the answer to this question is B, (-infinity, -28].

Greeley [361]
Since each table had 7 women and 3 men at each table, that would mean each table has 10 people. Since there are 9 tables he was waiting on, and 10 people at each table, multiply 9 x 10, and you will find that he served 90 people in total.
