Answer:

2x+2(x-3)=54

Step-by-step explanation:

to check

2x+2(x-3)=54

distribute

2(x-3)

2x-6

2x+2x-6=54

add the 6 to the other side

should be 4x=60

now if you divided this it would be 15 for each leg but since it says two legs are 3 inches shorter, it'd be 15-3 is 12

15+15=30 for long sides

than 12+12= 24 making it equal 54

In a geometric sequence, the__
between consecutive terms is constant
kow [346]

Answer:

In a geometric sequence, the ratio between consecutive terms is constant.

Step-by-step explanation:

A geometric sequence is where you get from one term to another by multiplying by the same value. This value is known as the constant ratio, or common ratio. An example of a geometric sequence and it's constant ratio would be the sequence 4, 16, 64, 256, . . ., in which you find the next term by multiplying the previous term by four. 4 × 4 = 16, 16 × 4 = 64, and so on. So, in this sequence the constant ratio would be four.
