Since it will be very unlikely for us in our current technology, to prevent earth's vulcanic and tectonic activity, we can only find out some solutions to deal with earth quake , such as :

- Building Earthquake-resistant building, which is now being used by almost all building in Japan
- Predicting the earthquake before it come using earthquake detector, so we can prepare ourselves during the incidents
- Stocking enough easy-to-consume food supplies in case you're trapped inside your building
