STEP 1
find cubic feet; multiply the three dimensions together; be sure to use the same unit of measure for all three dimensions: 6 inches is equal to 1/2'.

= 38' * 37' * 1/2'
multiply

= 703 cubic feet

STEP 2
divide cubic feet in step 1 by number of cubic feet in a cubic yard

27 cubic feet= 1 cubic yard

= 703 ÷ 27
= 26.037 cubic yards

STEP 3
multiply cubic yards in step 2 by cost per cubic yard

= 26.037 * $150
= $3,905.555
= $3,906 rounded to nearest dollar

ANSWER: It will cost $3,906 (rounded to nearest dollar).

Hope this helps! :)

We need to find the volume first.
In order to multiply the volume, we need to convert everything.
We could either convert it to feet or inches. We can do feet.
38 feet by 37 feet by 0.5 feet.
We need to then multiply.
38×37=1,406×0.5=703
So the volume of the slab is 703 ft³.
The concrete is $150 per cubic yard.
cubic yard= 27 cubic feet
We can make it $150 per 27 cubic feet.
We need to divide the volume of the slab by 27.
703÷27= 26
Now multiply it by 150.
The cost is $3,906(3,905.56)

Solve C = 2πr (solve for "r")<br> C = 15
Jobisdone [24]
C = 2 pi r

but c = 15

15 = 2 pi r
15 = 2 * (22/7) * r
r = (15*7) / 2 / 22
r = 2.386

What is the equation of the following graph?
nignag [31]

Answer:

{y}^{2}  = 24x

Step-by-step explanation:

This is horizontal parabola.

It has a directrix at x=-6.

The vertex is (0,0).

The focus is (6,0)

The equation of this parabola is of the form

{y}^{2}  = 4px

Where (p,0) is the focus

By comparison, p=6

Therefore the equation of the parabola is

{y}^{2}  = 4 \times 6x

This implies that

{y}^{2}  =2 4 x
