Swift showed his Irish patriotism by writing about STARVATION AND THE DEVALUATION OF COINS IN IRELAND.

Swift was an ordained Anglican clergyman. He wrote stories for the tories and one of his works was a satire that tells of three brothers coats entitled A Tale of a Tub in 1704.

Swift also approved of powerful political groups where he sought to persuade men to become responsible and reasonable.
