How does Garibaldi’s language show he was part of the Romantic Era?
Tpy6a [65]

Answer:

Romanticism, in terms of it being expressed through writing, fundamentally relies upon articulate words that both resonate within the individual studying the passage and portray a general message that can be varied and molded by any that ready it. With this passage, Garibaldi writes with ornate vocabulary, such as “horror” and “gorged”, while still emitting an indistinct emotion throughout his telling of London.

Great Britain's economic policy, mercantilism, required that the country export more goods than it imported. For this to happen, Britain needed to maintain its status as the world's strongest industrial power. Britain did this by acquiring colonies overseas. It was motivated to do this because it needed new markets for its finished goods. The colonies could also be used to supply raw materials for manufacturing.
