Answer:

450 nm, 550 nm and 600 nm respectively.

Explanation:

Colour vision in humans is due to the tree types of cones present in the eye. The cones are -

  • Blue
  • Green
  • Red

Cyanopsin is found in the blue light sensitive cones and is sensitive to the wavelengths between 380 nm and 550 nm and shows peak at 450 nm.

The green sensitive cones have Chloropsin which is sensitive to the wavelengths between 430 nm and 670 nm, peaking at 550 nm.

Erythropsin is found in red sensitive pigments which is sensitive to the wavelengths between 500 nm and 760 nm and peaks at 600 nm.

When colours are received by the cones, the information is encoded on the bipolar and ganglionic cells of the retina and then this information is passed to the brain.
