COPD or Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease is an inflammatory lung disease causing obstructed airflow in the lungs. The 2 conditions contributing to COPD would be Chronic Bronchitis and Emphysema. There are treatments to this sickness yet having a balanced diet, being active and avoiding the triggers would be of big help thus the nurse can inform the client to promote optimal nutrition and exercise is to just eat a well balanced diet including vegetables and doing exercise but not too vigorous like simple walking for 10 minutes.
