An experiment wants to see if temperature will change the reaction rate for a chemical reaction. The same size and brand antacid

tablet is dropped into exactly 100mL of ice water, room temperature water and hot water. The time it takes for the antacid tablet to completely dissolve is recorded.
What were the control variables in this experiment and what is the independent variable?

The antacid tablet because it stays the same through out the whole experiment while the water tempratures
