9) 35% of the 12,000 are 50-64 years old.
12,000 x 0.35 = 4,200

4,200 people were 50-64 years old

10) 25% of 596 people are over 64 years old
596 x 0.25 = 194

194 people were older than 64

11) yes, he is correct because 450 x 10%=45 and 450 x 30%=135

Camille placed blocks on a table in rows and columns. All the rows and columns had the same
dexar [7]
If all the rows and columns have the some number of blocks, then

(number of blocks in each row) times (number of blocks in each column)

must be a perfect square.

'121' is the only choice on the list that's a perfect square.  It's the square of 11.

Line m in xy plane contains the points (2,4) and (0,1) which of the following is the equation of M
HACTEHA [7]

Answer:

The equation of line M in slope intercept form is    y=\frac{3}{2}x+1

The equation of line M in standard form is  3x-2y=-2

Step-by-step explanation:

step 1

Find the slope of line M

The formula to calculate the slope between two points is equal to

m=\frac{y2-y1}{x2-x1}

we have the points

(2,4) and (0,1)

substitute

m=\frac{1-4}{0-2}

m=\frac{-3}{-2}

m=\frac{3}{2}

step 2

Find the equation of the line M in point slope form

y-y1=m(x-x1)

we have

m=\frac{3}{2}

point\ (0,1)

substitute

y-1=\frac{3}{2}(x-0)

y-1=\frac{3}{2}x ----> equation in point slope form

step 3

Find the equation of line M in slope intercept form

y=mx+b

Isolate the variable y in the equation of the line in point slope form

y-1=\frac{3}{2}x

Adds 1 both sides

y=\frac{3}{2}x+1

step 4

Find the equation of the line M in standard form

Ax+By=C

where

A is a positive integer

B and C are integers

we have

y=\frac{3}{2}x+1

Multiply by 2 both sides

2y=3x+2

3x-2y=-2 ---> equation in standard form

What is the value of n? n–2=10n+4/2 n =
slamgirl [31]

simplify

n-2 = 10n/2 + 4/2

n-2 = 5n + 2

subtract 5n to both sides

n - 2 - 5n = 5n + 2 - 5n

simplify

-4n - 2 = 2

add 2 to both sides

-4n - 2 + 2 = 2 + 2

simplify

-4n = 4

divide both sides by -4

-4n/-4 = 4/-4

simplify

n = -1
