3x^2 - 75 =
First factor out the 3
3 (x^2 - 25) =

Now we have a difference of squares

= 3(x + 5)(x -5)

Well, the first step is to ALWAYS see if there is a GCF. In this case there is. It is 3.

Now we must take out that 3 gcf and put it outside the parentheses like you're used to doing.

3( )

By taking three out, we are basically dividing everything by 3.

3x^2/3 Would leave us with just x^2 or x squared.

3(x^2)

Now we will divide -75 by 3. We get -25. So let's add that in the parentheses.

3(x^2 - 25)

That should be the final answer!

Evaluate the expression 4+−4√2+−1√ and write the result in the form a+bi.
castortr0y [4]

In the expression, the real number a equals 12 and the real number b equals -16.

How to explain the information?

It should be noted that the expression given is:

= (4 - 2i)²

Therefore, we need to expand the expression. This will be:

= (4 - 2i)(4 - 2i)

= 16 -8i -8i + 4i²

= 16 -16i +4i²

Substitute -1 for i²

= 16 - 16i + 4(-1)

= 16 - 16i - 4

= 12 - 16i

Therefore, the value of the expression is 12 - 16i.

Answer: 5 miles

Step-by-step explanation: If she goes 3 times a week for 8 weeks she goes for a total of 24 days. In those 24 days she wants to bike 120 miles. Divide 120 by 24. You get 5. Therefore she needs to bike 5 miles each day she goes to the gym to achieve her goal.
