Answer:

B. The Gibbs energy will always be positive, and the reaction will

never be feasible.

Explanation:

The relationship between gibbs fee energy, G, enthalpy, H and Entropy, S is given as;

ΔG = ΔH - TΔS

If enthalpy is positive and entropy is negative, it means that we are going t always have  a positive value for the gibbs free energy.

This means the correct option is option B.

16.25 g of water at 54 C relaeases 402.7 J. What will be its final temp?
leonid [27]
Data:
Q = 402.7 J → releases → Q = - 402.7 J
m = 16.25 g
T initial = 54 ºC
adopting: c = 4.184J/g/°C
ΔT (T final - T initial) = ?

Solving:

Q = m*c*ΔT
-402.7 = 16.25*4.184*ΔT
-402.7 = 67.99*ΔT
\Delta\:T =  \frac{-402.7}{67.99}
\boxed{\Delta\:T \approx -5.92\:^0C}

If: ΔT (T final - T initial) = ?
-5.92^0 =  T_{final} -  54^0
T_{final} = 54^0 - 5.92^0
\boxed{\boxed{T_{final} = 48.08\:^0C}}\end{array}}\qquad\quad\checkmark

Which of the following is not an environmental consequence of nuclear energy?
Tatiana [17]
Since the choices are not listed, it would be difficult to identify what is really the answer. The best I could do is to list some of the environmental consequences of the use of nuclear energy. This type of energy is said to have the lowest impact on the environment since it does not have eany emission that would cause air pollution, its waste is isolated from the environment and would only need a small amount of area of land. Although it has the lowest impact, it would still have an effect on the environment. One would be the amount of radiation that will be emitted when a meltdown would happen. This would affect not only the environment but all of the living things including humans. Also, it could cause eutrophication from the wastes. <span />
