Let x hours be the number of hours Issac worked
     x+6 hours be the number of hours Ruby worked
    4(x+6) hours be the number of hours Svetlana worked.

x + x + 6 + 4(x+6) = 126
x + x + 6 + 4x +24 = 126
                   6x +30 = 126
                          6x = 96
                            x = 16
Therefore, Issac worked 16 hours.
                  Ruby worked 16+6 = 22 hours
                  Svetlana worked 22 × 4 = 88 hours.

If PQ is tangent to circle R at point Q and PS is
Murljashka [212]

Answer:

Perimeter of the quadrilateral PQRS is 25 units

Step-by-step explanation:

From the figure attached,

PQ is a tangent to the given circle so m∠PQR = 90°

Now we apply Pythagoras theorem in the ΔPQR,

PR² = PQ² + QR²

(PT + TR)²= PQ² + 5²

(4 + 5)² = PQ² + 25

81 = PQ² + 25

PQ = √(81 - 25)

     = √56

     ≈ 7.5 units

PQ ≅ PS ≅ 7.5 units

[Since measures of tangents drawn from a point to a circle are always equal]

Perimeter of PQRS = PQ + QR + RS + PS

                                = 7.5 + 5 + 5 + 7.5

                                = 25 units

Therefore, perimeter of the quadrilateral PQRS is 25 units.

Answer:

It would be 3C, 2C, 0C, -6C, -7C, -9C, then -18C

Step-by-step explanation:

This is because the larger a postive number is above 0, the greater it is. Along with this, the smaller a negative number is, the less it is.

Production line produces 50 mouse traps every 30 minutes for the course of a 10 hour day with a half hour break for lunch how ma
Artist 52 [7]

Answer:

950 mouse traps are made in a day.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Mouse traps produced in 30 minutes =  50

Total working hour in one day = 10 hours

Lunch break time  = 30 minutes

To find:

Number of mouse traps are made in a day = ?

Solution:

Total number of working hours =10 hours

We know that 1 hours = 60 minutes

so 10 hours  = 60 x 10 = 600 minutes

It is said that there is 30 minutes break

So total working hour is 600-30 = 570

In 570 minutes we have  = \frac{570}{30} =19 half hours

Now the total mouse traps produced is  19 half hours is

19 x 50 = 950
