Find the area of the kite

Mathematics
1 answer:
Leya [2.2K]3 years ago
6 0

Answer:

144ft^2

Step-by-step explanation:

since it's a kite, there are two pairs of congruent (exactly the same shape) triangles

bc of this you can find one triangle from each pair and double it

e.g.

\frac{6 \times 8}{2}=24

\frac{12 \times 8}{2}= 48

so you would do 2(24+48)=144

Is three fourths greater than nine tenths ?
OLga [1]
3/4 = 0.75
9/10 = 0.90

0.90 - 0.75 = 0.15 (which is a positive difference)

this means that 0.90 is greater than 0.75

so the answer is: <u><em>no, 3/4 is less than 9/10</em></u>
