Answer:

B

Explanation:

based on research and others answers, the answer is blinking. in addition, sense of sight is very important to mammals, so if their sense sound was obstructed by the loud sandstorm, all they would have is their eyesight. sand in eyes is painful as well, so they would automatically blink in response to the pain in their eyes.

Viruses are unique among infectious agents because they are?
motikmotik
It's answer d, but for info :

The question of wether or not a virus is alive is not resolved, some scientists say yes, some say no.

The fact is, viruses need another organism's enzymatic machinery to survive : alone, they cannot multiply or grow, produce or use energy, functions that are common to everything alive.

On the other hand, they do possess nucleic acids and proteins like living beings!

Which location in the cell is unlikely to contain ribosomes and ribosomal subunits?
Zina [86]

The correct answer is Smooth Endoplasmic reticulum.

Ribosomes are distinct from other organelles as they possess no membrane enveloping them, which differs from other organelles, they comprise of two subunits, and when they are generating some of the proteins they can turn membrane bound to the ER.

The smooth endoplasmic reticulum does not possess ribosomes on its surface and thus does not take part in the formation of proteins. The SER has been found to take part in the synthesis of steroids.
