Jeweler A: 125, 140, 155, 170, 185, 200 Jeweler B: 140, 152, 164, 176, 188, 200 If you count the hours it would be after 5 hours that they would be the same exact amount. The two jewelers would be paid $200.00 after 5 hours. Sorry if I did anything wrong. Comment if I left something out or you don't understand.

Write the equation of the line, in standard form, that has an x-intercept of 2 and is parallel to 2x + y = -5. Include your work
STALIN [3.7K]
Paralell to 2x+y=-5
means it has same slope
means it is in form
2x+y=c where we have to find c
convert to slope intercept
minus 2x both sides

xint of 2
xint is where th eline crosses the x axis or where y=0, x=2

2(2)+0=c
2(2)=c
4=c

the equation is 2x+y=4

Ship Co. produces storage crates that require 1.2 meters of material at $.85 per meter and 01 direct labor hours at $15.00 per h
Vesna [10]

Answer:

$3.42

Step-by-step explanation:

Meters of material required = 1.2 meters

Cost per meter of material = $0.85

Direct labor hours = 0.1

Cost of direct labor per hour = $15

Overhead rate = $9 per direct labor hour

Standard cost per unit of product :

(Direct material cost per unit + direct labor cost per unit + overhead cost per unit)

Direct material cost per unit :

Material needed × cost per meter = (1.2 × $0.85) = $1.02

Direct labor cost per unit :

Direct labor hour × cost per hour = ( 0.1 × $15) = $1.5

Overhead cost:

0.1 * $9 = $0.9

Standard cost :

($1.02 + $1.5 + $0.9) = $3.42

Can anyone help with this??
Kipish [7]

Answer:

y=x+6

Step-by-step explanation:

the co-ordinate points are (-2,4)and (4,10) so y2-y1

                                                                           x2-x1

10-4 =6

4-2 =6 which will be 1 as the gradient so you will form an equation

y-10 =1 cross multiply the values with one so the answer will be y-10=x-4

x-4

take -10 to the other side it will be y=x-4+10 hence y= x+6
