When getting from one consecutive number to another you have to add 1.
Ex. 4,5,6; to get from 4 to 5; 4 + 1 = 5; 4 + 2 = 6.
We set up the equation this same way except we don't know the starting point so we use x.
x + (x + 1) = (x + 2) = 93 Combine like terms
3x + 3 = 93 Subtract 3 from both sides
3x = 90 Divide both sides by 3
x = 30
x + 1 = 31
x + 2 = 32
The questions wants the greatest number so the answer is 32.
Answer:
What is the question
Step-by-step explanation:
Like terms will have exactly the same variables
so 5a and 2a are like terms
examples :
3b and 4b are like terms
3b and 4a are not like terms
2a^2 + 3a^2 are like terms
2a and 3a^2 are not like terms
3ab and 4ba are also like terms...even though the variables are switched
6b^2a and 6a^2b are not like terms
I was only able to come up with the answer of 1. Here is my work (don’t mind the messy handwriting I was writing with my finger on my phone)
