Whats another way to write 8/5 as a fraction ?
sashaice [31]
16/10

All you have to do to get another way to write a fraction is double the original fraction.

For example...

1/2 = 2/4 = 4/8 = 8/16...
All these are half, 8/16 is the same as 1/2.

Hope this helped. Have a great night!

Answer: Choice C) Multiplication property of inequality

The rule basically says that if you start with a < b and you multiply both sides by some positive number c, then a*c < b*c. The sign doesn't flip if you multiply both sides by a positive number.
The sign will flip if c is negative. So we'll go from a < b to a*c > b*c if c is negative.

Example 1:
1 < 5
-2 > -10 ... multiplied both sides by -2; sign flips

Example 2:
3 < 7
9 < 21 ... multiplied both sides by 3; sign does not flip

Similar rules apply to a > b, a \le b and a \ge b

$20 original = $5 final paid           as $15 was s/p before -10 was added

$30 original = $14 final price        as $24 was s/p before -10 was added

$60 original = $35  final price    as $45 was s/p before -10 was added

$92 original  = $69 final price       as $59  was s/p before -10 was added

Step-by-step explanation:

Ans in bold

A) = f(x) = 20(0.75) -10 =  15 - 10  = $5                 = £5 final paid

B)= f(x)  30 (0.75) = 24 - 10 = 14                           = $30 original price

C)  = f(x) = 60(0.75) -10 = 45 -10 = $35               = $35 final price

D)     = f(x) = 92 (75) = 69 -10 = $59                    = $92 original price
