Answer:

Option C is correct: messages, SETI is the most heavily funded project of its kind, yet the search for extraterrestrial life will likely be

Explanation:

Option A is wrong because the modifier was wrongly placed and the search cannot be recognized as a project.

Option B is wrong because it failed to use simple future tense when describing the likely outcome of the search "yet the search for extraterrestrial life would likely have been "

Option C is correct because it uses the simple future tense as described above "will likely be"

Option D is wrong because it is the search that would be stymied and not SETI and also did not use a simple future tense

Option E has the same error as B as it failed to use simple future when describing what will happen

Lorico [155]

Answer:

the student’s First Amendment rights violated yes bc the first amendment is freedom of speech....it doesn't have to be nice.... it says "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." it says nowhere in there that the freedom of speech had to be nice.

Why American colonists had strong views about self government ?
mestny [16]
The colonists had to develop their own governments anyway because of the fact that they were so far away from England. Then there was an event known as the First Great Awakening, which was a religious revival that swept across the colonies in the mid 1700's. This revival caused people to realize that everyone was equal in the eyes of God, so they applied that to their government and created representative governments where everyone had a say.
Back in England, the king wasn't allowing the colonies to have a representative in Parliament, so the colonies had no say whenever new laws or taxes were made for them. This made colonists mad, and eventually it led to them wanting to govern themselves and start a new country.

How did colonies increase the wealth of European nations?
elena-s [515]

I'm probably not the most qualified person to answer this, but the king taxed them very heavily and even put a tax on tea, which later lead to the Boston tea party.
