<u>Answer:</u>

The weekly pay of Joel is \bold452.72\\bold

<u>Solution:</u>

Given,

The normal weekly pay for an adult of age 21 and above is \bold565.90\\bold

Joel, the service assistant is 19 years old so, he comes into the junior category.

given that the wage rate of a junior employee is based on the specified percentage of the adult rate.

The percentage for 19 and under 20 years is 80.

80\% can be written as \frac{80}{100}

Therefore, the weekly wage of Joel is 80\% of 565.90\

\frac{80}{100} \times 565.90

wage=\frac{45272}{100} = 452.72\

So, the weekly wage for employees of 19 and under 29 years is 452.72\

Answer:

$452.72

Step-by-step explanation:

Joel is 19 and according to the chart he makes 80% of what an adult over 21 makes

$565.90 * 80% = $452.72

I don't know about how to put that in standard form, but an equation has to have an equals sign... So, that would be an equation.

Pls help me with this
Illusion [34]

Answer:

No solutions.

Step-by-step explanation:

Both equations have the same slope, but are separated by virtue of their different values of b, the y-intercept.  The same slope means they are parallel lines.  Since the y-intercept is different, they do not overlap.

As they say, "Parallel line have a lot in common.  Too bad they'll never meet."

B is the midpoint of AC and E' is the midpoint of BD. If A(-9,-4), C(-1, 6), and E(-4,-3), find the coordinates of D.
Ipatiy [6.2K]
The coordinates for D are (-4, -7)

First we must locate point B as it is vital to finding the midpoint of BD. To do this, we take the average of the endpoints AC since B is its midpoint.

x values = -9 + 1 = -8
Then divide by 2 for the average -8/2 = -4

y values = -4 + 6 = 2
Then divide by 2 for the average 2/2 = 1

Therefore B must be (-4, 1)

Now we know the values of E must be the average of B and D. So we can write equations for each coordinate since we know they are averages.

x - values = (Bx + Dx)/2 = Ex
(-4 + Dx)/2 = -4 ---> multiply both sides by 2
-4 + Dx = -8 ---> add -4 to both sides
Dx = -4

y - values = (By + Dy)/2 = Ey
(1 + Dy)/2 = -3 ---> multiply both sides by 2
1 + Dy = -6 ---> subtract 1 from both side
Dy = -7

So the coordinates for D must be (-4, -7)
