If the scientist triples the temperature of the gas at constant pressure the factor of the gas volume would change most likely with the double amount of pressure from the start

Hey there,

A scientist triples the temperature of a gas at constant pressure. By what factor does the gas’s volume change?
I believe that when the scientist triples the temperature of the gas at a certain and constant pressure, the factor of the gas volume would change most likely with the double amount of pressure that the scientist put in the first place.

The specific gravity of iron is 7.87, and the density of water at 4.00
OlgaM077 [116]

The volume of 6.00g iron is 0.762 cm^3.

Step 1. Calculate the density of Fe

The specific gravity (SG) of a substance is the ratio of its density to the density of water at 4 °C.

SG = density of substance/density of water.

∴ 7.87 = density of iron/1.00 g·cm^(-3)

Density of Fe = 7.87 × 1.00 g·cm^(-3) = 7.87 g·cm^(-3)

Step 2. Calculate the mass of Fe

Volume of Fe = 6.00 g Fe × (1 cm^3 Fe/7.87 g Fe) = 0.762 cm^3

From identifying the elements that make up a star, astronomers can determine the star’s what?
Sveta_85 [38]

Working out a star's age. Spectroscopy also tells us the age of a star by looking at the amount of its matter made up of chemical elements other than hydrogen and helium. "The earliest stars were composed of just hydrogen and helium because they were the first elements to form after the Big Bang".
