Negative Effects  :

-A widening gap emerged between the Bourgeoisie and the working class

-The pollution of the environment worsened, including urban environments where the majority of the population lived

-Water in canals, which people used, was contaminated

-Cities were overcrowded

-Sanitary conditions were poor because they were unadapted to the massive rural exodus

Hope this helps,

Urban areas doubled, tripled, or quadrupled in size which led to over crowding in cities. Sometimes a large population is a good thing, but in this case the population was too big and caused many health problems. Living conditions were dirty and unhealthy. Cities were unsanitary and diseases filled the streets. There were no sanitation codes in cities. Many citizens got very sick

Freedom of speech may be limited during times of war.<br> true or false
Liono4ka [1.6K]

Answer:

Explanation:

True.

What one says can make an enemy sympathizer happy to hear. A mother could talk about the socks she's knitting for you grandson, a father could talk about the truck's engine being hard to start (with no other details), but it was forbidden to talk about things that give away troop movements or anything that might be useful to the enemy. They would love to know that there were ships leaving the Baltimore harbor. The submarines would be there waiting for them.

In some cases it would be considered to be treason to divulge certain information, so your freedom of speech is severely limited.
